The Siskiyou Land Trust contacted us about installing 15 boxes on properties around Siskiyou County. They wanted to promote owls for pest control and healthy balanced ecosystems.
They also wanted to make sure the boxes could withstand the snow they get in Winter and the warmer temperatures they get in Summer in the northernmost part of California.

They installed a number of boxes in barns and fields. Near agriculture is the perfect setting for barn owls, they can hunt the fields for mice and voles, then retreat to their little owl homes, safe and secure.
